June roundup

It has been a busy few months at Kremlin Cottages, and a steady stream of winners has made it a productive time as well.

We only had the one runner at Royal Ascot this year, but Cairo ensured it was still a meeting to remember for the yard with an excellent third in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes that started the five-day extravaganza.

Race 1 – Queen Anne Stakes (G1)
Docklands, ridden by Mark Zahra, wins the Queen Anne Stakes on Tuesday, 17 June 2025 at Royal Ascot. Trained by Harry Eustace and owned by O T I Racing.

Despite being sent off at an unfancied 100-1, Cairo handsomely outran his odds to storm home for third under Silvestre de Sousa. We will look to have a lot of fun with Cairo for the rest of the year and have some exciting international plans for him, watch this space!

Other highlights have included the progressive Wateen getting off the mark stylishly at Lingfield, and she will now pursue black type, while Naana’s Sparkle gained a deserved victory at Redcar and could be a sprinter to watch for the second half of the season.

Stamina is Bellator Bullet’s forte, and he is developing into a progressive young stayer with back-to-back wins at Redcar and Nottingham and Rogue Invader was another to announce himself as a horse to follow when making a successful return to action at Beverley.

That’s just a snapshot of some of the winners the yard has enjoyed over the last couple of months and we’re looking forward to the rest of the season and hoping that there will be plenty more success to enjoy.

We are always looking to add to the team, so if you want to become involved as an owner, whatever your budget, then Alice is always available to discuss options.
