Ardad x Some Spirit '23

2023 Filly – Ardad x Some Spirit

This filly is simply going to be fast! She is a very racy type out of a sister to a Listed winner, from the extended family of champion juvenile filly Park Appeal.

She will be an early juvenile and if she’s as speedy as she looks she will take some catching.

A'Ali x Terre Du Vent '23

2023 Filly – A'Ali x Terre Du Vent

This filly is a half-sister to our own Asteverdi who won races as a two and three-year-old, including an eye-catching success in a Sandown handicap this season.

She is by the first-season sire A’Ali, a very fast and precocious colt who won the G2 Norfolk, G2 Prix Robert Papin, and G2 Flying Childers as a juvenile, but trained on to also be a G2 winner as a three-year-old. An out-and-out speedball, his first crop were well received at the sales.

I think she will almost certainly be a speedier type than Asteverdi, and is likely to be an early type for 2025.

Teofilo x Wisteria Girl '23

2023 Colt – Teofilo x Wisteria Girl

Sired by the renowned producer of high-class talent Teofilo, this colt is out of a daughter of the Irish 1000 Guineas Saoire.

It is a classic Jim Bolger family, and this is a racy, forward-looking type who will be given time to strengthen up and develop into a potentially exciting individual.

Space Blues x Archetypal '23

2023 Colt – Space Blues x Archetypal

This filly is nice-sized, precocious type who has shown a fantastic attitude to her early work.

She is half-sister to debut winner and subsequent G2-placed juvenile Lord Of The Lodge, who excelled at between six and seven furlongs. This filly would strike me as one who would take after him and be sharp enough to be making her debut early in 2025.
